Youth Councils

Objective

Create 25 new Youth Councils throughout New York City.

Status

In contact with current New York City Council Members to discuss providing space and resources for the Youth Council programs.

How You Can Help

Attend a Youth Council
Youth Councils are open to young people from any background. If you want to learn more about politics, get involved in your community, or just come to talk with other young people about your experiences, then sign up!
Lead a Youth Council
We are actively seeking leaders for new Youth Councils. Dedication to politics and experience leading a group is a plus.
Sponsor a Youth Council
Sponsors allow us to provide handouts, supplies and snacks for our Youth Councils. You can sign up for a monthly donation for any amount - every bit counts.
Provide space and resources
If you or your organization has a meeting space with a weekly availability, allowing access to a Youth Council is a great way to give back to your community.

Youth Council Locations

Currently, Youth Councils are operating in the following locations:

  • East Harlem, East 105th St
